Jensen Road Right-of-Way Assessment - 2015

This project was presented at the 2016 Alaska Surveying & Mapping short course "Key to the Highway: Unlocking the Mysteries of Right of Way Research".  The presentation report and PowerPoint slides are available in the archives under the "Key to the Highway" project link.  The documents linked below are related to the original client report The client provided permission to release this report.

This project was based on a request from a Mat-Su area engineer/land surveyor to provide an assessment of the existing ROW for Jensen road.  Jensen is located south of the Parks Highway at approximate MP 36.5 and west of Duterrow Subdivision.  The assessment included a statement as to the current ownership of Jensen Road.  This project was my first opportunity to look into the records of the Alaska Rural Rehabilitation Corporation which was set up to facilitate land transfers for agriculture to participants in the Matanuska Colony program.
