This presentation was a part of "Access 2003", a well attended two day workshop sponsored by the Alaska Society of Professional Land Surveyors and the International Right-of=Way Association held in Fairbanks. The focus of the first day was on RS-2477 and Section Line Easements and the second day covered Alaska Railroad ROW Issues.
My topics covered the DOT&PF perspective on RS 2477, management issues, section line and trail easement vacations, research resources, history & background, ROW widths, utilities and merger of title.
